Welcome Amokrane!
We are glad to announce that SubMate’s team just welcomed a new member: Amokrane.
Amokrane is a RoR and Android dev. He will help Clement implement new features on SubMate and will start working on an Android version of SubMate!
We have a lot of exciting stuff coming up and Amokrane will help us release them faster!

SubMate 1.1 hits the App Store !
Finally, the new version of SubMate iPhone app is available in the App Store!!

Kevin, our iPhone dev, did a great job and this update contains a lot a new features/improvements:

Behind the scenes

SubMate is in constant evolution, we currently add at least one feature a day. But most of the recents changes didnt impact the frontend of the website, what you see, but the backend.
So yeah, most of the work is done behind the scene. To give you a few examples of what we did during the last week:

We just won Startup 2.0 @ Nonick!

We launched our public beta at The Next Web
Big big day for SubMate ! As you know we were among the finalist at The Next Web Paypal X Startup Competition , we used that tremendous opportunity to launch Submate Public Beta !
So from now on, you don’t need an invitation code to register on SubMate !! You can try the website and soon download the iphone app (currently pending validation by Apple)

Our answer to commuting stress.
In the past few days, commuting stress has been a big issue here in France. A recent report, from Technologia, outlined that commuting was one of the biggest cause of stress for employees.

Saturday, Sylvain and Jonathan went to HEC (one of the top european business school) to introduce SubMate to a MBA class.
